HIGH-TECH MACHINERY

Luyckx has its own construction department supported by a team of designers.
This department ensures that specific customer wishes are fulfilled.
The engineering team uses the most advanced CAD and CAM packages, including Siemens/UGS: NX7.5 et I-Deas.
Our in-house machinery enables us to produce all necessary parts very quickly while guaranteeing the quality of the results.

The machinery consists of the following equipment:

CNC milling machine: Brand Soraluce type FS 18000

  • (3+2)D-axis for high speed milling
  • Heidenhain controller
  • working length 18m
  • orthogonal automatic milling head, 4000 rpm (2x360° positions 1°+1°)
  • automatic tool changer with a capacity of 60 tools

CNC laser cutting machine: Brand Bystronic - type Bystar 40-25

  • for cutting steel plates up to 20-25mm

CNC-operated bending brake/roller table

  • maximum pressure force : 800 kN (800 tonnes)

300-tonne LVD bending brake

Roller table and cut-off shears for working plates up to approximately 15mm thick

The CNC machines are controlled from the NX7.5 CAD/CAM package, to produce the highest quality at all times.
