A key benefit for owners is the reduced running costs which can be achieved with the ZX250LC-5. In PWR mode, fuel consumption is reduced by an extra nine per cent compared to the previous model’s P-mode thanks to the TRIAS hydraulics – in ECO mode, the reduction in fuel usage increases to 15 per cent. The excavator also features an Auto Idling Stop, which prevents fuel wastage when the machine is not being used and also helps the environment.

The Zaxis excavator is more powerful than ever before – the tried-and-tested power-boost and auto-power lift functions have been increased by ten per cent to deliver an enhanced level of excavating performance and lifting power. The 5 series excavator also features the new TRIAS hydraulic system, which enables it to achieve higher yields and better fuel consumption with the new low-emission engine, which complies with the new European Stage IIIB emission regulations.
